AADRI facilitates Rural Businesses for corporate and agri-business firms. Interested rural business organizations can contact the President for suitable knowledge creation and business facilitation guidelines in vertical and horizontal rural value chains.

Center for promotion of Art & crafts in collaboration with AARDI will conduct a painting camp in November 2012. Upcoming artists will participate in the five day camp which involves paintings in canvass in exotic natural environments. The theme of the camp is ‘Art for cohesive and peaceful social co-existence’. Artists from south and eastern part of India will participate in the camp. The artists will teach the rural children of the basics of paintings during the camp and explore the art market for the promotion of Indian arts and paintings globally. Interested individuals, institutions and organizations can contact for participation, patronage and sponsorships. Sponsors will be given a painting of their choice before the paintings are put in for public exhibition.

Prof. Bruce A. Scholten, Hon.Research Fellow in the department of Geography at Durham University and the author of India's White Revolution -Operation Flood, Food Aid and Development will be interacting with the AARDI on the emerging trends in the primary sector of India and the new development paradigms for its way forward. This will pave way for the creation of a global team networking on the livelihood patterns in an era of masked development. The annual meeting of Association of American Geographers (April- 2011) will discuss this theme with participation of indian cases. Prof.Bruce will also interact with various stakeholders in the development sectors, industry domains and students during his week long visit in India.
Painting camp at Harishankar
AARDI hold the first painting camp in January 2011 at Harishankar, Bolangir district of Orissa. 30 accredited painters from Tamil Nadu and Kerala participated in the four day camp. The camp ended with an exhibition at Gandhi Bhavan, Bolangir where is the Project director (DRDA) and the district collector participated.
